Happy New Year! As we begin 2025, NAIFA is ready to tackle a busy and impactful agenda on behalf of financial professionals like you. From navigating legislative and regulatory challenges to advancing initiatives that support our industry, this year promises to bring significant opportunities and critical moments for advocacy. As you know, NAIFA’s Congressional Conference is a cornerstone of these efforts. Your participation in the conference has been and continues to be instrumental in advancing our mission and ensuring members of Congress are well-informed about the critical issues impacting our industry. Registration will be available soon. With new leadership in the White House and changes in Congress, it is more important than ever for NAIFA members to build relationships with policymakers—particularly the newly elected members who need to understand the complexities of our profession and the policies that impact it. To encourage broader participation and attract NAIFA members who have not yet experienced the Congressional Conference, we have updated our stipend policy for 2025 as follows:
The revised policy reflects members’ suggestions to incentivize the next generation of financial professionals to engage in NAIFA advocacy. As a seasoned advocate, we ask for your help in recruiting a colleague or fellow NAIFA member who would be eligible for a 2025 stipend as a first-time attendee. Your personal encouragement and mentorship could inspire a new advocate to join us on Capitol Hill, adding strength to our collective voice. Thank you for your ongoing support of NAIFA and for being an advocate for the financial service profession. We look forward to seeing you in May and continuing to make a meaningful impact together. |
